Save as when running file

Hello Guys,

I am looking forward to running a macro when starting an excel file that would pop up the save as prompt.

In fact, I would like to keep my file as a master file and oblige people using it to directly save as the file.

Would you know, how to do that?

Can you explain better your goal ?

Hi, Graig,

from what I understand I would recommend to store the file as a template and open new copies of the workbook from that workbook. If thgat won´t work due to any reason maybe only allowing to open the workbook as Read-Only may help.
