need to do Partial name search and return the value against the partial name

Hi All

Need help with vlookup on wildcard.

Please find the attached excel. In the first sheet, there is column A and B, which I want to lookup in 3rd sheet.

But the issue is I want to do wildcard search, which I am not able to. Eg. Staples Advantage in column A cannot be looked up in 3rd Sheet where name of supplier is just Staples.


Kindly help either with a Formula or with any VBA Macro

I do not think it is returning the right rows and find 1 partial match only.

You can try it on sheet 3, B2 and drag it down.

fuzzyvlookup will work best in this scenario..
