    VBA Protection - (Protect Sheet)-Disable

Is there an alternate way to disable the user using the "Protect Sheet". I mean when the user click the "Protect Sheet", a message box will appear only.

The reason why I want to disable it because I have my own protect sheet code that will protect a specific sheets.

    Hi, mcmunoz,

    Hi, mcmunoz,

might be a way to go because then you know about the protection and a passowrd. If you´re using 2010/2013 you would have to hide the Backstage part of the ribbon if you want the user to have more difficulty in unprotecting the sheet(s).

    Ciao,
    Holger

I am using 2010/2013 but I don't know what are you talking about hiding the Backstage part of the ribbon?

    Hi, mcmunoz,

protect a sheet as example, then go to File and have a view at the options available.

How do I change Backstage(File) view in Excel 2010-2013 shows how to handle this.

    Ciao,
    Holger
