Move completed items to second worksheet using macro button

    Hi,

I am creating an action items/dashboard to track open and completed items. I would like to be able to move the entire row (In action items open) once cell in column J says "completed" into a second worksheet (action items status complete) , preferably by using a macro button to execute the command. Once moved into the second worksheet - i would like for it to be removed from the first worksheet.

    Thanks

give this a try....the only thing it doesn't handle is the renumbering of the active sheet numbers in column A because I don't know what you want done....and there are other ways besides using the select format...

oops....the file didn't save where I thought....lets try this again....you can also remove the macro box "Update Completed Items" and create an icon on the quick access toolbar to fire the maco also....have fun
