Dear all, first of all thanks in advance for your time in looking into my "issue".
What I'm struggling with is the following situation: At glance, I have a list (number or text) in a column and I would like, based on a percentage that will change every time, to copy randomly the number coming out from that percentage calculation to another column. I'm attaching something I found online which "almost" match my requirements but that didn't work 100% but that could be useful for you to understand what I'm looking for.
Said that, there are two main constrains and one "nice to have":
1) the list is not a static one but will change time by time, so every new calculation should consider the amount of cells fed;
2) the cells which I need to copy in % through the Macro are not going to be populated one after the other, if you will open the attachment you will see a first column called "ID", the column B which is the source of my exercise, might be fill in different ways, e.g. today I can add the values for 1.0, 2.0, 5.0, 18.0 and so on leaving the other IDs blank, so the calculation and the copy to the column C which is my target should reflect even that possibility.
"nice to have": in case I might need to copy not only that source column but let's assume I need to copy even other columns before or after the target one, how could I modify the macro?
Thanks again for your support and do not hesitate to contact me for further information if I've not been clear enough
