Command Button that looks in a cell and saves in a folder according to cell name

Hello everyone I have something that hopefully you can help me with

I want to create a Command Button that when clicked will look in a certain cell and according to what it says I want it to save in a specific folder.

For example if C1 = 12345 then I would like it to save in S:\General\QUOTES\Quotes\Q12000-\12345

    Is something like this possible?

You can try this, although it's unclear what you want to save, it's made to save the current file itself.

millz! that worked great now im a excel newbie and I don't know how I would implement this into my own spreadsheet that I already have. would you be able to assist me there?

another thing is our folders have a number limit e.g. 12000 would go up to subfolder 12999 before going to a new folder 13000 with its own sub folders inside it would I just change the coding everytime we would move into this "new" folder>

thanks very much for your help

I wouldn't be able to assist if you don't post a sample workbook, I wouldn't know how your worksheet looks like. If you are certain that it's always going to be only numbers, then a simple logic can be made to determine which folder should it be going to. That's also why you should always be specific about your requirements right from the first post of a thread, to save time clarifying back and forth.

No problem, just letting you know in case in the future you are going to ask for some more help. When your problems and requirements are clear and straight forward, it enables people to help you more easily too.

    Try this.
