Hello,
I need to protect an excel file. I use macro (hide, unhide columns and rows) and formulas (most of the formulas are in a table).
The file is in Read-only.
--> When I protect the sheet and allow the user to do lock/unlock cells, format cells, columns, rows, insert rows, columns, rows, hyperlinks delete columns, rows...
I manage to get what I expect which is to protect some cells and formula and having my macros working!
The only problem I am facing is that when I try to add a row I get the below message:
"The cell or chart that you are trying to change is protected and therefore read-only.
To modify a protected cell or chart, first remove protection using unprotected sheet command (review tab, change group), You may be prompted for a password."
However the row is correctly added BUT without the formulas. Can you please help me to manage inserting a row in a table and to keep my formulas.
Thanks,
Graig
