Excel 2010, macro button to export data to another workbook

Hi All

I had considered myself a bit of an excel pro until I recently began trying use VBA again, amazing how much you can forget in 10 years.

Im trying to insert a macro button to export data when clicked, say between C1:C10 in book 1 and export the data to another workbook, say Book2 but exports the data into rows a3:j3. The original data in book 1 is also cleared. One issue I've found potentially is that the data would need to be placed in the row after the previous entry so it does not clear previous exported data.

I've come across a similar workbook before so I know it is possible but can't figure it out.

Any help with this would be great

Ben are you having a problem creating a button, or creating the macro. For adding buttons, you need to add the developer ribbon and in there there will be a tool box. If you are needing help writing the macro it would be something like this:
