datepicker control has gone into hidding and I cannot find it.

    Hello
Had a datePicker control on a userform but it has dissapeared. When form is loaded get the following msg "could not load an object because it is not avaliable on this machine". If I go to tools/additional controls in I dont have the option to select the datepicker control (cannot remember exactly what it is called but it is not there).
    What is the solution?

    Hi GavJ,

Is the datepicker present in your Excel Add Ins?

Go to the Excel Options >> Add Ins & check if it's there.

Once you've found it, also check under the Visual Basic >> Tools >> Reference Libraries that datepicker is checked.

I've attached a datepicker Add in for you to use if you don't find yours.

Cannot find in VB>>Tools>>Reference Library. main problem is that I am trying to run on 2 different PC's. Works OK with Excel 2007 on XP machine but not on a Win 7 running Excel 2011. Dont seem to be able to find the MS Date and Time Picker Control 6.0.
Any idaes how to get this to work with Win 7 and Excel2011?

    Hello GavJ,

When it comes to adding additional controls, accessing scripts, or other advanced PC specific features, chances are your Mac will balk at any attempts to use these.
    Sincerely,

    I've used the file with Windows & & Excel 2007 & 2010 without a problem.

Once you've Added it in (assuming you have been able to) got to a spreadsheet Cell & Right click, the datepicker may be at the top of the list to select.

Some screenshots of what you're seeing would be good too.

    Simple fix.
    Copy mscomct2.oxc to c\windows\syswow64
Right click on the cmd prompt and run as administrator.
    enter
    cd\windows\syswow64
    regsvr mscomct2.ocx

Now when I go to the VBE I can select tools>>additional controls and "Microsoft Date and Time Picker control 6.0" is now visible and can be selected and DTPicker works!!!!!!!!!
