remove everything between two strings in cell value

Hi guys,

I'm trying to store some additional meta data to cells in my workbook.

The data is to be stored between "---------------" and "---------------" in the cell

I need to be able to remove everything between these hyphens and leave the rest of the cell value in place.





An example of a cell:

| --------------- |
| A/L: PG, JN |
| TRNG: JJ |
| --------------- |
| ...project info |
| ... |
| ... |
|_______________________|

NB: the _ and |'s are drawn for illustration only
