Chart format macro, activechart

Hi,

Im trying to write a quick macro that formats excel charts. I want to select a chart and run the macro on the selected chart but im struggling to reference it properly (i.e. it refers to chart 11). Also i want to add a source text box in the bottom left hand corner of the chart but i've struggled to write this completely.

EDIT: charts will have varying series, i want it to colour the series1=X, series2=Y etc and stop when the chart runs out series (obviously), however it hits an error if there is more series specified in the code than in the chart.

I have made some progress but am now stuck.

Can someone help me insert a text box, insert text "xyz", format font type and size and place in the bottom left hand corner.

and

Re-jig the code for the series colours. If the chart only has two series then it comes up with an error (as there are four colour series in the code). I want it to just ignore the other series code if there arent that many series.
