Ron's Send Email With A Link Macro

    Hi All

Well I am at the end of my teather trying to work this out. I am a Newbie. I really would appreciate if some could help me with this. I have been working with Ron's Send Email In Excell With A Link To A File. What I need it to do is get the email addrees to send to from a cell within a row, rather than a column, but only if the cell in the row above the email address has a vale of "Y". The row is Row 4 for you "Y" flag and Row 5 for the email address. Ron's script is:

    Hi BanburyS

I'm not certain I know what you're trying to accomplish. You indicate this
but only if the cell in the row above the email address has a vale of "Y".
but your Code refers to Column C

Re: Ron's Send Email With A Link Macro

    Hi jaslake

Thank you for your reply. This code written by Ron De Bruin uses email addresses in column B and if there is "y" in column C on the corresponding row sends an email. What I need is it to be the other way round. i.e. All my email addresses will be in Row 5. I want to send emails to all the addresses that have a "y" in Row 4.

I don't have access to the workbook at the moment, would it help if I could attach a copy of it?

Thanks for your help though, much appreciated

    Regards BanburyS

    Hi BanburyS

Please don't Quote entire Posts...Quote only relative parts that make your point.

My understanding is that you have Email Addresses on Row 5 of your Worksheet. In Row 4, if a "y" or a "Y" appears the Email should be sent. In my testing the attached Code does just that.

If this Code does not work for you then attach a copy of your File.

Re: Ron's Send Email With A Link Macro

    Hi jaslake

    Thank you for your reply.

Sorry for the big quote. I sent it quickly from my IPone.

I am getting some sort of Subscripte error 9.

    I have attached my Workbook.

Ultimately, this should send the email when the workbook is saved or closed following changes to employee's shifts, and should do the same for all worksheets. At the moment for testing there are only emails and change flags in the Income Tab or Sheet2.

I hope you can make sense of what we are trying to acheive here.

    Your help is really appreciated.

    Regards BanburyS
