    Excel spin button on Userform

    Hello,

We were looking for a couple of days to the forum and the internet to find something similar like this but we didn't find anything.

I am using an excel userform (Ver. 2003).
I have a spin button and a textbox.
I want the user to select from the spin button the end of month date from January 1st 2000 ("eomonth" function).
The result to be placed at sheet1 cell A1. Also the result to be on the textbox in userform the next time I will open the workbook.

I need a vba code for that to place on spin button and/or textbox and/or the userform.

Does anybody can help us with this?

We will appreciate this a lot!

Thank you very much in advance.

    Welcome to the Forum!

I am not sure what this means: "the end of month date from January 1st 2000 ("eomonth" function)" A spin button selects a value from a range of consecutive integers. Do you mean use the spin button to select an end-of-month date and scroll through all months starting with January 2000? Are you using Forms controls or ActiveX controls?

It will be much easier to understand your problem if you provide your file, instead of asking us to create one from scratch. This allows us to see your data, layout, code (if there is any), much easier than describing it. And once we understand the problem, having your file will let us experiment with your data, formulas, and code, and possibly attach a file with a completed solution.

    To post a file:
    1. Under the text box where you type your reply click the Go Advanced button.
    2. In the next screen look above the reply box and click the "paper clip" icon. You will get a pop-up screen.
    3. In the pop-up, click Add then Select to select a file from your local drive
    4. Click the Upload button to upload the file
    5. Click Done to attach it.

It will be displayed as an attachment underneath your post text. Alternatively as the last step you can click the Insert Inline button and a hyperlink to the file will be inserted directly into your post text in the spot where your cursor is set at the moment you click the button.

Here is a modification of your file that fixes things up. Note that I set your two textboxes to "not enabled" because it appears that you want to manage the values through the spin button, not by user input to the text boxes.
