Conditionally copy data from a form in a worksheet to a summary form in another worksheet

    Hello,

I am a newbie with writing Excel VBA. I would be grateful for your help! Attached is a mock up workbook. Tabs L #1 through U will have the same type of chart form with varying number of sections and selections.

Objective: Copy a subset of the chart records found on the L #1 through U worksheet tabs to the Summary chart found on the Summary Worksheet based on the following criteria. The Summary worksheet tab shows an example of the end result for which I am requesting programming assistance.

    Location of Cell Data:

Equipment Column: Copy the chart name found in Cell B4 of the L #1 through U worksheets. (See criteria below.)
Item Column: Copy the item code (consists of a number and a small letter). Continue down the page excluding non-essential rows.
Component Description Column: Starting at Row 6, copy the name in Cell A6, add a colon and a space, and copy the non-bolded name in B6. Continue down the page excluding non-essential rows.
Safety/Action Code Column: If present, copy either the number (Safety Code in Column J) into section 1, or the letter (Action Code in Column I) in section 2.
Comment Column: Copy the comment found in Column K.

    Criteria:

For the “Critical Safety Issues” section: Copy the above cells for a given record that might display any one of the three Safety Codes.
For the “Repair & Maintenance” section: Copy the above cells for a given record that might have either the C, L, A, R, or M Action Code (any of the codes except for N/A). NOTE: It is possible that the same Equipment, Item, Component Description, and Comment will appear in this section and also in the first section. The only difference would be the Safety or Action Code.

The defaults on the equipment tabs’ charts are:
    OK column: checked
    Safety Code column: blank
    Action Code column: blank
    Comments column: blank

The Technician should remove the checkmark and select the N/A Action Code for components for any line items that he/she has not inspected.
