Delete Text to the right of a certain Character from a Data Validation List after Selectio

A file is enclosed.

The workbook has 5 Sheets.
There is a Named Range ("LIST4") in the Sheet "Rope". Every Cell of the Range derive Data from 4 Columns ('B', 'F', 'G' and 'I') of the Sheet "ParticipanrData", by concatenating. I included a dot (".") after the Data of Column 'B' for ease of 'LEFT' Function in combination with 'FIND' Function.

Some Non-Contiguous Cells viz. E11:E15, E21:E25 and so on, in the Sheet "Rope" are Validated with the aforesaid Named Range "List4".

I need the Data of Column 'B' of Sheet "ParticipantData", i.e. Trainee Name only after selection of Item from the List. To say all Data after the Trainee Name should not appear in the cell viz. E11:E15 etc. The Dot (".") is acceptable if it can not be deleted.
