    Smile Protecting VBA langguage

Is the way of protecting excel vba language (state below) feasible ?

    1) Workbook-A = Contain all (or most of the important) vba language
    2) Workbook-B and Workbook-C = Working workbook. (which mean workbook B and C contain some minor vba langguage to call workbook-A's programme language and use it.)

    Re: Protecting VBA langguage

    Hi
    Please see the following link:

    http://www.wikihow.com/Protect-VBA-Code

Please also bear in mind that this is NOT foolproof. There are many small applications on the market that are able to bypass the VBA Protection function.

    Hope this helps.
    Good luck.

    Re: Protecting VBA langguage

    Hi,

Instate of using this method to protect the VBA code from editing, will this method reduce the file size and speed up the opening file?

    1) Workbook-A = Contain all (or most of the important) vba language
    2) Workbook-B and Workbook-C = Working workbook. (which mean workbook B and C contain some minor vba langguage to call workbook-A's programme language and use it.)

    Re: Protecting VBA langguage

    Hi
The speed of opening the file should have nothing to do with the VBA contained in the file. It may be down to the processing power of the machine you are using and whether there are other programs being used in the background.
