    Count Cells colored by conditional formatting

    Hello all,
    I am trying to count range of cells based on conditional formatted color;
    I am loading a part of the data as shown in the attached spreadsheet. I found a VBA code online that I used which works with colored cells but does not give accurate result when the cells are conditionally formatted. for example, in the attached spreadsheet, Cell D2 is formatted using condional formatting, so the value in Cell B2 should be 1 and NOT 4. Please advise on how to tweak the code such that it works with conditional format.

    Code used:

    Re: Count Cells colored by conditional formatting

    The spreadsheet posted is part of a original ss which has 100s of columns and 1000s of rows, every third column has conditional format (True if Value in c1 is blank and e1 is not); i need to count how many data points are missing per row. the code shown above works iff the cells are manually color coded which again is a tedious task consideing the amount of data. unfortunately i do not know vba and hence was looking for some help. Thanks
