Macro stopped working

Last week, I successfully got a macro working that queried Yahoo Finance security prices from the internet and then manipulated the prices to form a desired report on my holdings. This week, the macro won't work even though nothing changed. I think it's got something to do with the security levle assigned to the macro because it works on my home computer but not my work computer.

Can someone tell me how to set a macro enabled spreadsheet so that it work on any computer?

Oh, additional information... when I first open my macro enabled file, I get a message at the top of the screen "Security Warning Macros have been disabled". When I open the file at home, I have the option of clicking on a button that says "enable macros". When I open the file at work, my only option is "Help protect me from unknown content (recommended)

I hope this additional information provides more insight into my problem.

Macros may have be disabled by your IT dept.

But I got it working perfectly on Friday.

Did you check the trust centre for macro set-up?

When I go to the Trust Center, I have the following set:

Macro Settings: - "Disable all macros with notification"
Developer Macro Settings: - "Trust access to the VBA project object model" is checked

My main problem continues to be the fact that when I initially open the file, my only option is "Security Warning Macros have been disabled". I do not have an option to "Enable content"
I also have a problem exiting Developer Mode after going into that mode. When I attempt to exit, I get a message, "The macros in this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros."

Okay, now when I go look under Visual Basic, my macros have disappeared!! What's going on??

Check the trust centre then message bar and check which option is ticked/unticked.

I have checked the following: "Show the Message Bar in all applications when content has been blocked"

I suspect one of your setting have changed.

BTW, I have already attempted to run this file from a trusted location.

After you click the trust centre, there are a number of options, one of them is File block. If you go through each and check which of the settings have changed, if all were workings fine until Last Friday.

In the Trust Center, my options are as follows:

Trusted Publisher
Trusted Locations
Add-ins
Macro Settings
Message Bar
External Content
Privacy Options

NO File Block

It may not be in 2007. I am running 2010.
The point is if all was fine until Friday, I can only think that one of these have changed.
I have noticed the following on my settings. Some of the files I download from this site have some private blocking message and a result some of my settings do change. For e.g. The auto calculation changes in to Manual. I only notice this change when my calculation is not workings, so something has changed in your settings.

Okay. I'm going to go home and make note of my settings at home and compare them to what I have at work.
