Question Can formula result add another row?

Row N (any cell number) MAY HAVE a value from 1-20. Is it possible to have a formula that tells my spreadsheet that if cell N10 has a value greater than 4, then I get an additional row below row 10?

Re: Can formula result add another row?

I think I may have stumbled upon what I'm looking for HERE but I'm hoping to limit Macro's & VBA usage only because I'm a super beginner at it... but if that's what it takes to get what I need, then so be it!

to add rows based on the contents of a cell will require VBA, sorry. Regular formulas only return answers, and cannot "push" an affect onto another cell/row/column
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Re: Can formula result add another row?

    Hmm... very well then.

I see some examples from google searches on how to add a row based upon a certain condition being met, but each vba coding example looks very different from the next.

HERE is another example of such.

In VBA then, how do I say...

From N5:N80, if any of those cells contains a 5 or higher, then add a row below that cell where you have the 5 or higher?

    Ex: N26 has a value of 6. Therefore I would want a row below N26. Then N55 has a 7. I want a row added below N55?
