Hide columns bases on unique date value in each column

Attached is a look ahead schedule in "gantt chart" format. As the date progresses I would like to be able to click a button to hide the columns that are older than 7 days previous to the publish date. I have some experience with VBA but not enough to create my own code and I have not been able to find a previous thread to help me.

The date values are in row 5 but duplicated in row 2 since they're hidden in row 5 by the filter. The publish date is cell P55.

Another button to unhide the columns would be nice but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
