Hi I'm relatively new to excel VBA and from what I've read 1 point in excel = 1/72 inch. So does that mean if I place a shape 100 from the top and 100 from the left its (100*1/72) 1.39 inches from the top and 1.39 inches from the left?
Thanks
Paul

Yes, approximately. See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ex...001151724.aspx
Of course, measurements can easily change when a worksheet is scaled for printing. Be careful if you are trying to position an object which needs accurate printed size and position.
