Connecting Excel to Oracle

Hi,

I want to connect Excel to Oracle database , to insert some of the excel data to oracle database.
I found some help on this link , but i am not able to connect to oracle from excel , - http://miguelontheweb.com/wordpress/?p=110
Can you please guide me for the same ?

what have you tried? what happened? do you have the oracle client tools installed on your computer? is the db running on your computer or a server?

Hi ,
I have just pasted the link in my first post , and I tried the same steps.
DB server runs on another mahcine which is unix. and my local workstation is windows.
Yes Oracle client tool is installed on my machine (10g)
I use Excel 2003.
