Auto copy cells including a cells Coloured background (colour fill)

I have multiple daily work Rosta's on multiple sheets in a workbook. I am joining them together on a new weekly Rosta sheet. I have formatted some of the cells in the daily sheets with a background colour. I am creating the weekly sheet by simply saying (SHEET 8) cell A1 = Sheet1 cell A1 etc etc. The issue is that the background colour in sheet 1 cell A1 does not come over with the data. Is there a way to import the different colours in some cells over with the data to sheet 8 without doing it manually?

Thank you for viewing what I think will be a small problem for you guys, but a real problem for my limited ability.

I understand that I can copy and paste it into sheet 8. However, I would like to be able to enter the data on daily sheets (1 through 7) and for sheet 8 which combines all sheets into a weekly rosta to update automatically, including any cells that have been filled with colour to highlight an important meeting etc.

In this case i need a sample workbook pls.
