see my sample file, i want copy the heading and need current date then scroll down 140 lines..
i tried in macro recording, but again date filling in same cell, paste in same cell, i want paste in current active cell and scroll down 140 lines, serial number also fill in s.n column 1 to 140,
how to paste in current cell, and all the above happen,
You need to click on "Use Relative References" before recording your macro. This will allow you to perform your desired results on any ActiveCell.

- Copy the Excel VBA code
- Select the workbook in which you want to store the Excel VBA code
- Press Alt+F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor
- Choose Insert > Module
- Edit > Paste the macro into the module that appeared
- Close the VBEditor
- Save your workbook (Excel 2007+ select a macro-enabled file format, like *.xlsm)
To run the Excel VBA code:
- Press Alt-F8 to open the macro list
- Select a macro in the list
- Click the Run button

I´m afraid the wrong way to learn anything about VBA is to ask other users to post their workbooks which they would need to create in order to attach them.
