Copy header text and paste into a cell

Hello guys,

I want to copy a header text and paste it into a cell. I am using:

Problem is that this copies the header text formatting, i.e., what I get as a result is:

&"Arial Narrow,Bold"&8Table 1. DIRECT LOANS: AVERAGE LOAN SIZE–continued&"Arial Narrow,Regular"
(Dollars in hundreds)

Is there a way to get rid of the formatting when I am copying the header value?

In what cell is the header text you want? Assuming it is B1 and you want the text in A1:

It's the header of the page - the one that you see from the "Page Layout" view. It's not in a specific cell.

Ahh I see what you mean. I'm not sure if it is going to be able to recognize just text. You might be able to specifically pull out the information that you want using split or another function but that is going to take some time. Maybe someone else will have an easier way of doing it.
