    Smile Extracting Data Help

    Hello,
I'm new to this forum so I apologise in advance if my explanation is poor! I really will appreciate any advise or help anyone can offer, so here's the situation.

There are two sheets to work with, on the first sheet columns B, C and D are populated with product code, product and value then in column L the total value is repeated (it's usually exactly the same as column D however out of the maybe 100 products, only about 5 or 6 appear in column L) I would like to extract those products and all the information from columns B, C and D to the second sheet with the ability to total the value of all the products. As the products in column L change weekly this will need to be some sort of macro.

Thanks again for any help, I hope that made sense!

    Lilly

actually depending on data layout a pivot table would be a great tool. can you upload a file with non-confidential info?....in general you get faster response if you upload a file...thanks...

Can you redact any sensitive information from your workbook and attach it as an example? It will aid in finding a complete solution.

    To attach a workbook:

Click the 'Go Advanced' buttong below
Click the paperclip in the toolbar
Use the pop up window to navigate to your file
    Thanks,
    Solus

So if there is a value in column D and the same value in column L copy the whole row to sheet 2?

    Re: Extracting Data Help

I want to copy only the rows which have a value in L and I'd like it to happen automatically or with the press of a 'update' button on sheet 2.
    Thanks!
