VBA Vlookup Formula not populating variable with answer

Hi experts! I cannot get this Vlookup to perform in VBA code.

If you guys can help i would be greatful....thank.s


Basically here is what is happening....

I want to look up a variable named VActual which is holding the text name September in it in a table range named rMonths and return to the variable c the value in the second column which is a 9. I cannot get the variable c to receive the value 9 since the vlookup is not functioning in VBA.
