I am using the Excel comments as a very nifty way to have pictures automatically come up based on a drop down and some VBA code. The comments must always be shown and the .jpg files automatically load onto each respective page.
The only problem is that the comments have an arrow pointing from the comment box to the cell that it originates from. In my particular case the picture, or comment box, needs to be placed somewhat far away from where the dropdown originates. Therefore, the arrow shows up and it is ugly.
I have done a big search and there seems to be no way to rid of the arrow alone. My best try to alleviate this was to place an object over the arrow covering it up. I made the rectangle white, but it appears that the comment arrow always goes to the front. My current fix is to place a box above it, but I am making the box all black. It actually looks decent on the screen but printing with that much black will not be great.
I am open to any suggestions and/or VBA code that might fix this situation. Thank you very much in advance.
