Conditional Formatting for Chart Series Based on Cell Colour

Hi everyone,

I am trying to conditionally format a chart's series based on the colour of the cell data (which has also been conditionally formatted). The link below is what I have used but it does not work when the data is conditionally formatted - it is as if the cell has not "actually" changed colour and it makes everything white (colourless).

Does anyone have any idea on how to get around this? Also how would I go about changing other parts of the format? i.e. dotted lines vs full lines.

depending on your excel version, you can modify the code to use DisplayFormat to get fill colour resulting from CF
