Timed increase of cell value by 1 up to designated maximum value

I hope my submission is proper.

I am not very familiar with VBA but I need to know how to write code to increase the value of cell A1 by 1 each half second up to a value designated in cell B1.

    Any guidance will be appreciated.

    Yes, thank you.

When the macro is started, I would like the value in A1 to increase by 1 then pause for one-half second before again increasing by a value of 1 and continue increasing each half second until A1 equals B1.

Adjust the timer interval here TimeValue("00:00:02") as per your need TimeValue("HH:MM:SS")

Re: Increase cell by 1 up to designated maximum value

    My thanks, Sixthsense.

The Now() function works very well for increments of 1 second or larger but I can't figure out how to time in milliseconds. I found code that used a Sleep function and included this line...

Sleep 500& 'Delay for 1/2 second

I have not been able to figure out how to incorporate such a function into timing the cell A1 value increases. What do you suggest?

But Now() won’t auto update which needs a change in any of the workbook to get the latest time.

Maybe the following formula to flash text will suggest a possibility. I just don't know how to modify it to change A1 every half-second until it equals B1 - Thanks
