Can I re-link images without running macro again?

I create a number of excel files that use a macro that places thumbnails in a column based on the name in the first column. I have to send out updates of these sheets from time to time and re-name the files with each new version.

Of course, doing so means that that thumbnails are replaced with a graphic that says "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved..." etc. I can always re-run the macro, but that means each time a new image is stacked on top of the old image (or error message in this case). Rather than doing that, is there a way to re-link to the images? Just direct the macro to the right folder again?

    Thanks!

Would it be possible to delete the contents of the column and then have the images placed in by means of that macro?

Yes, but it's not as simple as just highlighting the whole column and hitting "delete". Excel won't allow me to highlight the thumbnails when I highlight the row, so to delete them, I have to go through and select each thumbnail error box individually and hit delete. If I hold down shift, I can select multiple photos at once, of course but it's not a quick and easy process. And sometimes I have up to a hundred thumbnails on a sheet. I am hoping that if there's a way to re-link, that would be an easy one-step answer.
