I was trying to adapt a calendar I found on here to the needs of my scheduling. I am not experienced with this type of work on excel. I have attached the document I am working on and here are the following problems I would like to figure out.

1. I would like the ranges of dates to be highlighted or connected some way on the calendar. (For Example on the first entry the dates are 7/2/13-7/5/13. I would like those to all show up as a connected event on the calendar.

2. Is there a way to color code the entries on the calendar by customer?

As I said I have never used excel for anything like this so if any changes are made to the spreadsheet, as much explanation as possible would be appreciated.
