Capturing Ideal system time using excel VBA

Hi,

I am trying to capture system ideal time on an excel. All the macro i searched does not provide this info.

What i am trying to do is to create a time sheet, which captures any ideal time greater than 3 minute and give an overall ideal time until the activity is completed. If above 5 minutes, message box should appear altering the user.

Hope the attached file should be useful to you. This captures the time if system is idle for more than 5 seconds. You could customize this for your requirement.

Thanks Nagarajan. This gives gave me the logic to proceed, however still does not meet the requirement as the sheet only looks at the active sheet (if i am in the time sheet (sheet3) the macro does not work. Sorry i was not clear earlier, this is the logic i want to use.

1. If system is unlocked, then capture idea time if there is no mouse movement or keystrokes for more than 3 minutes
2. if locked, capture time until user login
