    Rearrange data with vba

    Hi everybody

I have a sheet containing a list of names (one name per row) and several start and end dates arranged in columns.
I want to rearrange the data so I have one row per period.

I have attached an example of what I want to achieve.

I take it there is a quite simple solution to this, but unfortunately my skills are insufficient.

    ExcelDane example.xlsx

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    Re: Rearrange data with vba

    Thanks a lot!

The code copies the name to three rows below even if there is only two different start dates. That is a minor detail, however. I can make some code to delete redundant rows.

Unfortunately, I don't quite get how all the offsets work. Which parts would I need to revise if I have e.g. ten columns containing start dates instead of four?

    Thanks in advance.

I have no idea how to read your suggestion, Jindon, but it works like a charm :-)

I appreciate the contributions from both of you.
