Moving entire row from one spreadsheet to another based on content in a particular cell

I've been working with Excel and Word for years and have pretty much learned everything I need to know in Word, Publisher and Powerpoint, but over the last few years I have found myself needing to learn more about Excel. I have a little more than the basic knowledge, but I've never worked with Macros or complicated formulas. I'm a self taught person so I thought this would be the best way to do it. I've read through several threads over the last few hours and I still haven't figured out how to get the right code to do what I need to do with my worksheet.

I thought it was a simple request, but I guess nothing is simple.

I want to move an entire row to another spreadsheet "Discontinued 2" when I select "Discontinued" in column B on spreadsheet "2013 Master GW Product List"

    Can anyone help?2013 Products2.xlsx

So will you be filling up columns A, C to Q and then come back to fill up column B? If you fill up column B after filling A, then that row will automatically be moved to the Discontinued sheet and you will have to go to the discontinued sheet to fill up the other details. Is this fine?

Is there someone who can help? Still trying to figure it out. I think it's a macro that I need, haven't found a formula that would do what I need to do and I've never worked with macros before. wouldn't even know where to start.

Alternatively, you can move column B to the last so that you dont have to necessarily remember to fill it up last.

Try this code - Right click on the 2013... sheet and select View Code. Copy paste this code over -
Please Login or Register to view this content.
Then change the dropdown values and you will find the rows have moved.

Almost there...the row that says Discontinued does disappear, but it is not transferring to the Discontinued 2 tab.

Actually i am surprised on why its not working instantly.

You seem to have the table format upto the 280 or something row. If you delete that, you will see that the data is getting transferred but from row 290 or so.

Once you select the entry from the dropdown and then click on the cell again, then it moves.

Marketing Project Planner 2014.xlsx I'm having the same issue again and can't seem to figure this out. I would think that it has gotten easier since the last time I was here. Can anyone help?

I want the entire row to move to worksheet Completed when column I is 100%. It sounds so easy.

Is there an online building macro in excel class anyone would recommend as well. It seems to be something I keep running into, even if it is the most basics of macro building.
