    1) image is usefull, but attachement is better: One have a ready excel file to work on.

    2) Try:
Please Login or Register to view this content.
    in B10.
    Copy down and right.

While adjusting to your real data note that 1st and 3rd arguments are shifted one cell to right
    B$4:BB$4 vs $C4:$BC4
Important thing: Project name cannot be number (projects A, B , 3, D etc.)

As you see not SUMIFS but SUMIF. There is just one criteria - the other (work type) can be ommited, because of data structure - you have only one type in each row.

    Hello Sir,
Great.......!!!Thank you so very very much for solution and sorry for late reply.
Your solution is working for my case.....
I thought of improving my time sheet. In previous post example, I have considered only for one engineer. Now i thought of combining more than one engineer in my time sheet.
Please find the attached excel and please suggest me if my requirement is possible.

Re: SUMIFS for Multi set of colums & multi criteria

    Hello Harish,

Try this in F32, then copy down & across.

    =SUMPRODUCT(($E$9:$E$27=$E32)*($F$9:$P$27=F$31),$G$9:$Q$27)

    Note: Two ranges are 1 column Offset. F:P & G:Q, First_Task_Column:Last_Task_Column & First_TIME_Column:Last_TIME_Column
    Regards,
    Haseeb Avarakkan
