Displaying Text Values in Pivot Tables without VBA

I have a data list that I want to see in a 'Crosstab-like' view.

The 'Capability List' tab has the raw detail -- I want to cross table 'Function' by 'Release' and display the 'Capability' field. The 'Capability' field is NOT numeric and I can't figure out how to get the data organized the way I want it organized... I've mocked up the view I want on the 'Capability Roadmap' tab.

Can anyone tell me if want I want to do is possible without VBA?DF Capability Roadmap v12122013.xlsx
