I would like to write one value in one cell and that value will be replaced by the content of one other cell.

1st Problem

Example:

I'm doing one excel file to record all my sportsbets

A1: Home team
B1: Away Team
C1: Type of Bet
D1: Odd
E1: Selection

Now the idea is:

A1: Mavericks
B1: Bulls
C1: Money Line
D1: +120
E1: If i write "1" it shows A1 (Mavericks) if i write "2" it shows Bulls if i write anyother content it shows the content i write

And then the same for each others lines

A2: Lakers
B2: Knicks
C2: -5
D2: -110
E2: If i write "1" it shows A1 (Lakers) if i write "2" it shows Knicks if i write anyother content it shows the content i write

I know that i can just go to E1 and write + or =A1 or B1 but was nice just write 1 or 2 instead write a formula



2nd Problem

And instead replace 1 for the content of a cell how do it for one list (once again i know that i can do it with a Validation List but when we have a long list its not fast drop down till the content we have and the same way if we hit any arrow key with one list cell selected we change it so i would like to "call" one list just by writing one value.
I write "5" in one cell and it shows the 5th item of a specific list instead shows "5"


Could you help me with this?
