    need a timer

    Hi There,

I'm a pretty basic Excel user, now i'd like to make a sheet to timeregister my daily activities. I was thinking about making some scroll down menus with the different tasks, and by clicking one cel get the start time and by clicking another the stop time. Can anyone guide me in this I'm an absolute nono in prgramming and VBA so a complete formula or description would be great. thanks for your help in advance

There are a lot of examples in this forum.
If you look at the bottom here under "Similar Threads", you might be able to get what you want.
If not, give us a more descriptive info to start with.
