    Calendar View Population from Lists

    Hi Everyone,
I'm building off an old thread, with some great background info here:
    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...ml#post3533706

The above was a great thread that showed how to populate a calendar view from a list of events and dates. It's brilliant!

I'm trying to build on this functionality and make the calendar view populate from MULTIPLE lists of dates. In my situation, I have the same events happening on multiple dates and I want them ALL to be pulled into the calendar. I've attached an example based on Pete_UK's work that illustrates my question. Right now, the calendar view pulls from the "Date 1" column, but I'm trying to figure out a way to make this pull from the Date 2, Date 3, Date 4 etc.. columns as well.

My application won't allow Date 1, Date 2, Date 3 etc. to be combined into a single column. Otherwise, I could just make a long list of activities and dates and work within the given solution.

Anyone have ideas? Thanks so much!

Re: Calendar View Population from Lists

You have 15 rows of dates in the events sheet, so without messing around with the calendar sheet, you can put this formula in B17 of the Events sheet:

    Formula: copy to clipboard

    and this one in C17:

    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.

then copy these two formulae down to row 91 to express the data in the same format that the calendar sheet expects. You can add more data manually beyond that if you wish.

    Hope this helps.

    Pete
