    Auto Highlight For Every New Data Entry

    Greetings,

    My first post in this forum has been fruitful, thanks to yudlugar. I have another question, Is there any special code that enable me to set each time I key in new data in a cell, all the column in line with the data is highlighted in my desired colour. For instance,

    A B C D E G H
    1
    2
    3
    4
    5
    6 RANDOM

    The situation is like this, I have existing data until number 5, when I key in new data for number 6, the column from B6 to H6 is highlighted. Thank you for your time. Hope I can receive reply soon.

    Right-click on the sheet tab and select show code, then insert the following:

    If you would rather like to change highlighting only when some value is entered in column A change "A:H" into "A:A" in two places above.

    Thank you for your quick response. It do meet one of my requirement. However, is it possible to make the highlight permanent? for example, im entering value at A1, it will highlight the column, what if then I editted cell A2, i want column 1 to be remain highlighted and column 2 to be highlighted too. Thank you
