    Hi,

    Brand new to this so the code I have written will probably seem disjointed and I have hit a brick wall.... all help appreciated!

    The problem:

    I have two sheets 'Main' and 'Mappings'. In 'Main' I have column A (for e.g) which has a list of jobs and column B which contains dependencies (the jobs that the job in column A relies on). Note: some jobs have no dependencies and therefore some cells in column B may be empty.

    On 'Mappings' I have a list of all jobs (column A) and then a reference number next to them (column B).

    In column C on 'Main', I want to be able to check the dependency in column B and find all the matches for it (in 'Mappings' Column A) and when a match is found return the reference number ('Mappings' Column B).

    Here is the code I have, and when I try using it I get an error in excel telling me there are no arguments for the function.

    I have changed my code so that it is not returning an error as such it is just returning #value in the cell I entered the formula. Here is what I have:
