Once you understand how to apply the statistics to your task, then you can use the tools in Excel to present the data. Or you could use the =AVERAGE() and =STDEV() functions to find an appropriate average and standard deviation of the data, then use the =NORMDIST() function to create the bell curve.

It looks from your picture like you have a "total performance" score for each employee. It would appear that you want to look at how this score is distributed across multiple employees.

As I noted above, I would probably start this analysis using a histogram. For someone unfamiliar with how this is done, it is often easiest to use the built in histogram tool. It appears that your main difficulty is in defining the bins. Instead of giving each bin as a range, give only the upper limit for each bin. Instead of 0-39, simply enter 40. Instead of 80-100, enter 100. Once you have your column of bins entered, it should be as easy as calling up the histogram tool, tell it to use the "total" column as the data array, and the range containing the bins. Tell it where you want the output and whether you want it to include the column chart/histogram, then click ok and you should have something to start from.
