I want to filter dates which are before 28.01.2014.
Open enclosed file and run following macro.
Why autofilter does not work properly ?

Interesting issue:
After running above macro go inside of autofilter and see that everything is okey !
Note: If you can get yellow coloured cell after running above macro, that means this code works properly for you.

I opened your file and ran the macro. It returns one date which is less than a week from today, which is what your criteria calls for. All other dates are further into the future. I don't understand what your issue is. The date returned was Jan 23, 2014. If this is not what you want, then please explain further.
