    If Listbox Says "........." then

    Hi all,

Im wondering if there is a rule i can put in place, where it would be....

I have 3 options in my list box, "Bulk", "Direct" and "Shop", in a textbox i have it always says "0", but if "Shop" is selected in the listbox then the textbox has to be greater than "0"

Is there a rule that can make this happen? im pretty sure i can get a msgbox to pop up to tell the user that they must make the textbox greater than "0" but i need a rule that stops them adding the information into the workbook if it remains "0" and istbox is "Shop"

Any ideas on how this could be done?

    Thanks

    Dan

    Hi Dan,

I am sure you you will understand it is easier to debug an issue if we have a sample spreadsheet with the current code to examine

    Hi Jmac

Theres nothing to debug, i have a msgbox that shows if "Shop" is selected, but im just wondering if you can create a rule kind of like an "IF AND" that if shop is selected in list box, textbox must be greater than 0?

I can send the file if you wish?

    Hi Dan,
I just have problems "visualising" your current problem so a "plaything" is always a great help in understanding your issue (so yes please)

I managed to come up with a solution that works, and should make the user put a value greater than 0 into the raw material box
