I've had to remove the pivot table data connection and lost some of the functionality to upload it so we've I've included a screenshot of the pivot table as well as the original layout (Pivot table is highlighted in black). Hopefully that helps!Digital Reportingv5.xlsm

Apologies, I'd forgotten I tried a different code. This one is the correct one.

Re: Refreshing Pivot table based on cell data

This is virtually impossible to debug without your actual Pivot Table to test my code on, but here's my suggested code anyway...

Can you please do up a sample workbook if you can't upload your actual workbook, if you can't get this code to do what you want.

    Thanks

Re: Refreshing Pivot table based on cell data

    Hi

Thanks for looking into it for me, the code didn't work but the error message is because of the line pvt.pivotfields("period etc.. and is suggesting the name of the pivot field is incorrect. I believe this is because its a power pivot with consolidated data sources. Do you know how I reference this within VBA?
    Thanks in advance

I'm sorry, I've never used or dealt with power pivot...it might be time for someone else to take over here unfortunately
