Macro for skipped serial numbers

Dear All,

Can some one do this pls?

Actually I want if I select the clumn in my excell work sheet and run a macro which can give me missing serial numbers in to a new book.

Hi,

This problem is a little too general to write VBA code for but find attached a non-VBA solution.

The reason it is too general is that "finding stuff that isn't there" is very hard. Knowing start and end points is ok but is it any column? What sheet do you want it copied to and user interface for a macro are all too vague. See if the attached helps.
