Split data based on date range

    Hi Friends,

SPLIT DATA.xlsxI required a macro to copy the data based on the date range given in the summery sheet (From and To date) and past in the new sheet with the name mentioned in the summary sheet against the date range.

Example I have done for “Sequence 01” in the summery sheet manually. I.e. I copied the details from the sheet “Data” from 8th July to 2nd August 2013 and created new sheet in the name of “Sequence01”and pasted the copied details (including header row). Likewise I need to do for the rest of the sequences mentioned in the summery sheet based on the date range given.

Kindly help to get the macro to split the data as mentioned above.

    Thanks for your support

    Regards,
    Prabhu

Re: Split data based on date range

    Thanks,

But sheets like Sequence 02,Sequence 03 and Sequence 06 etc are taken one more day extra then the given date.

i.e for example Sequence 02 to date should be 29-08-2013 but it takes date till 30th Aug 2013.

Kindly help to modify the same.

    Regards
    Prabhu

Re: Split data based on date range

29th Aug is not there in Data Sheet .That is why it is taking 30th, ie next day. If you want that to be restrict to previous day,

Re: Split data based on date range

    Thanks!

Need your help in solving one more bug in this Macro.

If the date range given in the summary is not available in the sheet"Data" then it should move to next Sequence.

suppose from and to date is for the year 2012 then the macro stop running. in such case the relevant sequence sheet must be blank and it should move to next sequence.

Kindly help in amending the macro.

    Regards,
    Prabhu
