Question Macro to Open Workbook Using Server Name (almost there)

I know I am very close but cannot get my macro to work that will open a macro enabled workbook on a network drive. I need to bypass the mapped letter name since each user will have a different one for that network drive.

Here is what I have using generic example names:

Can someone point me in the right direction of what I am missing to get this to work? Greatly appreciated.

I think you must remove the colon from the end of servername.

Thank you for your prompt attention. I did do that but still won't go through. I have double checked the filenames and still can't see where I am going wrong.

It begins with the path I assigned followed by "cannot be found. Check your spelling, or try a different path." I do not see any spelling errors in the names I have assigned.

If you pass same path to Dir command is the name of the workbook returned?

That should work.....however, I've seen all kinds of weird issues with network drives. VBA doesn't seem to like servers with odd characters in the name, like . etc.

This server name does have three parts to it separated by a "." for each part. name1.name2.org

I got it! I found the alias name without characters. I works great now! Thank you so much for your time and bearing with me.
