how to collect data from another Excel docu into the one used

hi guys,

i started a thread yesterday, but i must have been doing something wrong, do not find it anymore.

I have a docu and want to search via the line number fields to insert in a given line.

FIELD 1 FIELD2 FIELD 3 FIELD4 FIELD5

=row B = row C = row E =row G = row H

can be line 1-800

so in my first docu i type the line number, let's say line 500 to find the data. If not possible via the line numbering, then i can insert a row with the same line count, but that is it.

[I] want to type in the specific line number in the main docu and then the data sould be filled in automatically.

Any ideas are welcome
